Tuning in to Kids Online Facilitator Training is a 3-half-day professional development workshop that gives trainees a grounding in the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching.

This seminar will explore the nature of adolescent substance use, identifying when it becomes problematic to an extent that warrants intervention. Participants will investigate how factoring a young person’s ‘readiness to change’ into intervention planning enhances engagement and increases the likelihood of better health and developmental outcomes. The focus will be on practical responses to substance use that reduce harm and build motivation for constructive behaviour change.

This two-day workshop will provide an introduction to core practice principles and components of the CBT model. It will be helpful for a broad range of mental health practitioners who don’t have a background in CBT and are wanting an introduction to the application of the CBT model in youth mental health.

The SSCM training forms part of the advanced treatment training component of the CEED comprehensive eating disorders training. Prior completion of an introductory training in eating disorders before attending SSCM Training is essential.

Lived experience and evidence-based perspectives on adapting psychotherapy for autistic adults. Case examples and practical strategies to integrate into your clinical practice.

This one-day workshop will focus on the rationale for and how we effectively support and work with families, carers and supporters of young people with mental health challenges. This workshop will be helpful for a broad range of mental health practitioners and lived experience workforces working in child and youth mental health services.
